Real (ish) Monster Beetle

just wanted to share my real (ish) monster beetle that I owned a couple of years ago

I rescued it off ebay,

once I got it home, I did some research and it won loads of prizes in the VW scene when it was in its prime bugjam etc best in show and class,

it was featured in a few magazines (Volksworld) and a beetle book

The guy who built it wa called Russ Fielding, He lived in blackpool, but I wonder If he took his inspiration from the monster beetle ??

had to sell it before i completed the resto was getting into too much debt and had a nipper on the way

not as high, but the colour some of the graphics, it did have jacked suspension and huge wheels

Ha ha Fantastic I remember that round many shows - and I also remember Russ polishing all the stainless wheel arch liners
