Acoms Techiniplus-4 Receiver Connection To Mfc01

I'm assemblying tamiya scania r470. Unfortunately my mfc01 unit receiver cables does not fit into my receiver. Does any one know a way around this issue?

Trim the small tab off the side of the tamiya/futaba plug on the MFC01 to fit in the acoms receiver. Just make sure you get it in the right way around.

Ive got an acoms in my scania with mfu and didn't have any problems!

What is your problem?

I cant remember off the top of my head but has the mfu connector got the little tab on the side (like futaba's) if so just slice this off carefully and they should fit!

I trimmed one of the plugs but it still does not fit. I think the mcf unit plug is wider

I trimmed it more and now it fits in. Just needed to make sure this is an appropriate way to do it.
