Ian's just finding out about camping. The guy he needs to ask isn't back until this Saturday, so hopefully by then we'll have an answer.

Lunchbox races are always awesome. How about sticking a coloured paper flag to the trucks aerial - or go for an extra special paint job :D

Keep the interest coming people - we want to make this a proper event!

Sounds good to me, i'll have to get permission from her indoors first though.

How good is the off road track there these days? Can remember a few years ago it was really rough and the 1/5 scales struggled to make it around.

Not an off-road track anymore. :D

Sold!

A whole day with a track and Tamiyaclub members, what a belting prospect! Let's get that Conga Longa! (sorry...........)

Fair trek from wet and cold Wycombe so will probably look into overnighter on the Sunday.

Will be great to see real humans not just user names

The track is booked up!

Camping is fine on the site.

Camping will be 5 per pitch per day, paid in the Model shop when you arrive.

The gates close 10 pm on Sunday night and open again 6 am Bank Holiday Monday morning.

As there is a Tamiya Race event on Sunday, we'd advise you to arrive Sunday evening to give the race guys time to finish.

Myself and a few others will be there on the Sunday to show everyone where to park up and pitch tents.

Keep watching this thread for more updates :D

This may be a stupid question for an R/C event but,...................

Can I bring my doggie?

She never gets off the lead anyway and won't be any trouble!! and she loves camping!

Uh oh. This might be my first un/official bash with fellow TC members! Will have to sweet talk the powers that be, although we'll be due to come over and see my folks at some point in Northants anyway. Bit of camping and a few beers sounds like fun!

Might even get my old man along too seeing as how I just flogged him my TT01.

Any make of RC is welcome to the track for lots of fun racing and bashing (nitro running will be limited on track if lots of us show up though)

Fair enough, aslong as I'd get some track time with something from what I'm about to purchase from a friend I'm happy. Now, anyone passing near Andover able to take me

Off Roaders are fine!

The only thing that could be limited is nitro, due to them usually being bigger, heavier and faster than electric.

I never got chance to get to a Kidderminster meet sadly. I've seen vids and pictures, were they structured in races based on chassis type? I'm sure we could organise something like that, but we'd need to make sure everyone had the opportunity to run there cars/trucks so general playing about time would be needed too. Frequency control will be another issue I'll address before the time comes!
