Thanks for the good times and all the help guys (and gals), but I think my time in the club is up.

Thank you for your help and box destruction :-) Sorry to see you go. What was it? Do I smell?!

Keep well and I reckon you will be back.

Oh no! Who will give me Manta Ray advice now!!?!

Hope everything is well with you, and there isn't a reason other than our inane questions that is pulling you away so suddenly.

You will be missed. I hope all is well and there is something pleasant behind your departure and not something sad, unfortunate or expensive.

Be well.

Mark,

I am sorry to see you leave TC, I really liked the stuff you were posting over the time you were here. Great pictures!

Any chance you may come back - change of heart?

Well- if you decide to never come back to TC, I would still like to keep in touch via email in the future- if thats OK with you.........-

Also, thanks for purchasing my F150 NIB kit and my new built Repsol this week! I know you will take care of them both.

thank you sir,

scollins

Well it seems I'm still here  What can I say... The hobby is addictive and TC is a great resource. Some of you guys are great too. I won't be as active in the forums as I once was, but if anyone ever needs some buggy advice or any other help just shoot me an email and I'll help where I can.

All the action shots, car pictures and RC videos are slowly being put up on my website. The TC format I'm now finding too restrictive with what I want to show (and my site always works when I need to use it... sorry Chris).

The F150 and Escort will be in good hands Steve :) I have big plans. They will get used for what they were made for and I'm sure they will offer many hours of trouble free driving. The Escort 'bitsa-kit' is actually better for what I need than buying a NIB #58176. The TA01 parts on the chassis will be very handy when combined with the #58176 kit that I've been using for the last 15 years (and bought 2nd hand to start with). I don't know if I will do the detail job on them that you would though, I will try and do that rally interior justice. On a side note I bet the F-350 interior would have gone nice in the F-150 body too. When you get settled and start making them again mate I'm first in line.

Cheers, Mark

meh, TC is like joining the mafia, nobody gets to leave...

Don't need to subscribe to yak on the forums.

Many of us have additional online lives outside of TC so no stigma there.

Hope to see your website soon, there's a few good php gallery managers

available but most are still fairly clunky to organise imho.

Hahaha... but it's true. The wife calls it the "Hotel Tamiya Club" (like Hotel California)... you can log in anytime you please, but you can never leave.

I'm only doing regular html, no fancy PHP yet. Just edit the page in Dreamweaver when you want to change something. It's even easier than the TC user panel.

Everyone comes back at some point. I went off myself for a while, found myself checking in every so often and ended up back here again.

Look how many are here because we got the r/c bug again after years of doing other things.

With the rising price of gas you'll probably soon be using all of your expertise with electric RC to hop up a 1:1 Hybrid car - and where better to post pictures of how you shoe-horned a Mamba Max / Lipo combination into a Toyota Prius than on TC???

Hope to still see you in the forums once in awhile. I've appreciated all of your advice and help.

Cheers!

Well Mark, that didn't last long

I'm bad I know :)

Lets blame boredom, waiting for parts to get here, no PCs in the shop to fix and having a brain fry from too much html.

html and css aint too bad once you know the right tags and also work out why its not doing what you want it to do lol

html is as complicated as you want to make it

Look forward to seeing the site when its up and running, good luck
