There's one on ebay at the moment, looks like it wants a good clean up and paint. I've bought quite a lot of stuff off the seller before, and never had any problems. Descriptions are usually spot on, and he's quick with the postage too

Excellent find!!

Still looking for the super champ body....I would be willing to part with the porsche...maybe.

Was the camera you used boxed with it, its a little misty

The champ looks like its running on Holiday buggy tyres, have you perhaps got one of those tucked away as well....

no holiday buggy, I just didnt want to use the super champ wheels when I was a kid....( went threw many sets, the rubber tits wore off pretty fast and the last set I put on the car was the ones you see now....simple story really) I did store the broken shell and tires in another place...but with a couple moves here and there, I cant locate it, hence,...the missing shell. When I was in boarding school in England, Bromsgrove ( origin of this super champ ), my friend bought the holiday buggy, so funny to think back at the frenzy I caused by being the first to purchase such a toy, in a boarder house of 50 kids. All in all, I think 5 others in the house jumped in on the frenzy. I remember the holiday buggy, the subaru, the frog, and no one bought the toyota 4x4, but I remember it costed a bit more and we all liked the smaller cars. Anyway, funny memories. Just as history, the super champ travelled also to Saudi Arabia ( where my parents worked ), had it in the desert many times, and finally to Canada where I live now. I put the car away soon entering highschool in 1986. Especially since two legged blondes became interesting. Thankyou all for checking out my post and sharing some thoughts.

In addition, how rare is the Porsche 956 Newman edition, the manual also comes with a bonus insert in English. The Manual itself is in both English and Japanese mostly. Cant seem to find much info for this vehicle on the net
