11T and 19T motor in my car/truck

Recommended Posts

There's gonna be an 11T and 19T motor for cheap/sale on the RCX and I think I'm gonna buy it. (brand/type unknown coz the black out the pics on the brochure).

I will use it on my:

-Mighty Bull,

-Twin Detonator and/or my

-TL-01 car.

Can you Guys tell me which one to get for each ?

Since they are cheap, I dont mind to buy some of them.

Maybe max 4 motors for all of my car & truck.

1 for Mighty Bull, 2 for Twin Detonator, and 1 more for the TL-01.

Thx Guys...

An 11 turn is too fast for stock TL-01 and mad bull. It would probably get burning hot in the twin detonator. 19 turn motors would be a better option.

What do u mean by stock TL-01 and mighty bull (not mad bull)?

I have them all fully ballraced.

Is that what u mean or something else ?

And is the 19T motor faster than 20T (i have a traxxas stinger 20T).

I dont really know stuff about different motors coz when I play it about 20 yrs ago, we just use those stock mabuchi 540 motor.

Is there any math about how much power different between 1 turn ? for example, 19T motor will be this much more power than 20T, 20T is this much more power than 21T, and so on ? Or different brand/type just have different result so we cant count it that way ?

thx

Realize that an 11 turn motor is very fast but will produce less torque than a 19 turn. so when your turning big 2.2 tires on your twin detonator and Mighty bull you have to gear way down so that the motors don't overheat.

does your TL-01 have oil dampers?

oil dampers on my tl-01? means shocks with oil in it ? yes

how if i use smaller tires on my dagger/detonator/bull ?

are they still not OK ?

sorry about this "motor turns thing" coz like i said, when i play this about 20 yrs ago, i dont even know what the "turns" is.

thx
