Sorry, forgot to put this up sooner.

This weekend is the 2nd w/e of the month and racing will be held on my track on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of February, 10am til dark both days.

5 classes of buggys running, all electric:

Open: Anything goes in a 1:10 buggy (MambaMax class basicly, good luck to anyone racing against my DF-03 MS :) )

Modern 2WD: 27T motor limit, TEU-101BK only, Ni-Cd 7.2v only.

Modern 4WD: 27T motor limit, TEU-101BK only, Ni-Cd 7.2v only.

Vintage 2WD: Must use vintage (SRB) or kit wheels/tyres. Must have a driver fitted, #58074 or older kits. (re-re's acceptable)

Vintage 4WD: Must use vintage (SRB) or kit wheels/tyres. Must have a driver fitted, #58085 or older kits. (re-re's acceptable)

**Chassis other than Tamiya will be scrutinised by your competitors and decided whether it runs or not and in which class.

Pleased be warned that the dirt is metallic, very fine and very abrassive. Loves to stick to motor cans and magnets and jam motors and will get inside a sealed diff/gearbox.

The BBQ will be running both days, general store/cafe next door for nibblies and the pub is accross the road if you need a 'refuel' (or to drown your sorrows). Air compressor will be on for blowing the dirt from your chassis and lots of AC outlets for charging your packs.

Spectators are always welcome. It will be dusty (not rained yet), and good idea to bring a fold up chair.

The tennis courts will be open for anyone wanting to drive on road/drifter cars, no organised events though.

Cost is free. RSVP by 13th Feb please so I have an idea of numbers.

Cheers, Mark

What a nice idea, I might not get flights in time though :-)

Sounds like a great day out.

LMAO! I bet you would nearly do it too, just to see the shock on my face. It'd be another day of travel to get here once you landed in Australia.

Well it just poured rain for almost 45minutes and the track is totally flooded. So there's no dust problems now. LOL. Still 3" deep of water sitting in the hairpin. We may need snorkels yet if we get more.

I'm glad I had all the ruts levelled out and the corner cambers all back correct again from the last weeks practice (what I was doing today in between posting too much here). Once it's been wet the ground gets quite hard and the ruts and off camber is very hard to fix. Everything else is ready to go and just need to give the infields a quick mow tomorrow.

I can't wait... can you tell

It's rained all last night and all day today. Everything here is soaked and there's water all over the track. So sadly it's postponed to next week-end, weather permitting of course.

Even more upsetting is the reason my main competitor (brother inlaw - green Mamba DI) is unable to attend. His Dad passed tonight after many months of being ill. RIP mate, you will be missed.
