repro decals good or bad

can anyone help im woundering if it is worth buying repro decals on dvd of ebay and what kind of finish you get with sticky photo paper, can anyone advise me to how good the results can be and how to apply and will they run ? plus where the badword you get the paper from.

any help would be .......helpful

In basic "not that perfect"

After several attempts, you can't 100% reproduce

those decals yourself.

Have invested in a good laser printer, and a stash of decal

stuff, it is very good for my targets (flat truck decals),

or the mudflaps i make. But, unsuiteble for decaling

your SS with. The decal paper out there just can't make

the curves you want it to make.

As long the surface is flat or some minor "humps" it is possible,

sharp curves? forget it.

I think that for a runner they are fine (see my Monster Beetle), passable at a few paces away, but for a shelf queen or concours finish, you really need to find the originals if at all possible.
