Hi Guys, I have managed to get an area at the wings'n'wheels show in June, for displaying 1/14th RC trucks. It is at the North Weald Airfield, Epping, Essex, CM16 6AA

We have been given an area at the moment of 12m x 12m but this could be made bigger. The area is on a hard surface and camping is next to the layout if we can fit it all in! Otherwise there is plenty of room in the public camping area (there is charge for this area thou) You can visit for the day and a pass will be issued.

If you could let me know by the end of march if you are interested as I need to know numbers as space might be tight. So if you can say if you would be either staying for the weekend or visiting the show for the day to display.

Cheers

Just marked on my calender.

What would be displayed?

This area will mostly aimed at the 1/14th trucks, it will be roughly 6m x 12m with about 70% covered. I am also going to plan an area of 4m x 4m where we can setup some scale 4x4 offroading! With my G4 Discovery setup behind to attract the public!

Definitely interested in this. Building a Merc with lowloader at the moment and also a King Hauler. Bit of off-roading too, what more could anyone want. Of course "the Beer" goes without saying !!! Do you know how much the public camping would be if we can't camp next to the pitch?

Will be able to know this towards the end of April once I know the numbers. Also once I have confirmation on the size of the camping area we have.

If any of you are interested in coming along with there trucks can you please PM me with the days and if camping.

I have looked on the Wings and Wheels webpage. Public camping is 44 for two adults. That includes admission for the two days. Not a bad price considering admission is 8 advance booking and 9 on the day. One person camping will of course be cheaper. Go to www.wingsnwheels.net for more information

This is true for visiting public, but if you are displaying with the RC trucks the costs will be cheaper, if placed in the public camping area. This will better answered as I will know towards the end of April when I have confirmation of the pitch size and if we can all fit in! If we can the camping will be free!

Any update on the show yet or are we waiting till end of April for details?

Hi I am still waiting on a confirmation of folks wanting to come along. Please if you are 100% interested send me a PM saying which days (friday afternoon setup/ saturday/ sunday) and if you are wanting to camp (tent or caravan) or will be visiting each day and staying off site. Once I have a list/amount of tickets required I can then see how many of us can fit into the free camping. At the moment its looking as if we can all fit.

The cut off will be at the end of april.

Cheers
