Clod Buster

Hi guys I am trying to help one of my mates out with his Clod Buster! He got it off ebay and has yet to use it!! We have noticed there are four connectors including a separate battery box (which according to the instructions you don't have to use??). Obviously two of the connectors go from the servos to the receiver, and the other comes in from the switch (the lead from the other side of the switch must go into the battery box??). This leaves a spare lead sticking out of the manual speed controller with nowhere to plug it in?! Does this mean it is all connected up wrongly? Can anyone help us to sort the issue? The sun is out and we would love to take it to the beach!!

Just sounds like they have used a separate battery box instead of the power feed from the speed controller.
