Awesome lunchbox, like the color red and the cool decals.

what dampers are you useing on it, Ive been looking around for oil dampers for mine that look close to what the originals are. I just think it would be weird to put neon blue dampers on the box. yours fit the bill perfectly.

...and get another kit :D Want something very fast and can handle grass any ideas anyone ?

You could just buy a sport tuned motor for the LB. Although may not be "Very Fast" but def faster! I have a Wild Dagger with twin 550 motors and 14.4v, it is crazy, like something off a trevor Macdonald documentry about Young drunk Hoodies! Although they dont make it anymore, the chassis is the same as the Blackfoot Xtreme, so maybe you could get one and add an extra motor if you want to build, or just pick one up off ebay as they come up from time to time, and start pimping it! Two motors and 4WD have no problems with grass. Mine has locked diffs to so a bit of a mountain goat!

Let us know what you decide on...hopefully not a flashy mobile phone!

Thanks matey, I did pick the metallic red specifically (doesn't show in the pics too well) as a base to go with the graphics (which I picked to highlight the yellow wheels) - chuffed you think so, appreciated.

Shocks are Ansmann Racing alloy dampers available from Fusionhobbies. 95mm on the rear and 85mm on front from memory just to give it that nose down look, although it looks much more than that on one of the photos in my showroom. 3rd shock mod is smaller still, 75mm I think as you need something slightly smaller but let me know and I'll check for deffo.

Would love to have a race with more than one of these things, roll on the TC Lunchbox derby (think there was one last yr?) will try and get across perhaps.

Might go to Superstock BZ at some point too...

Great fun.

The BZ will make this thing almost undriveable (some folks on this forum like that). I took my BZ out of my VLB because it put it over the edge of fun for me. Many people here use the 25T - 27T lightly tuned motors and report a decent increase in speed/performance without losing complete control of the truck.

Best way to make these things steer better is to lower the front suspension so the tyres sit flat, toe out the front wheels to increase steering lock and response, and ditch the stock tyres for some after market rubber

A quick and easy way to flatten the tyres is to put a stock plastic bushing (the ones you hopefully replaced) at the top of the front shocktower. Thread it through the stock front shocks. I have a picture in my showroom. I used tamiya plastic oil dampers in the back (w/3rd shock mod) and added the plastic bushings to the front. I can almost get mine to drift and the steering is ultra responsive.

Hmmm I tend to disagree :D

It needn't be run at full throttle all the time, your trigger finger controls the speed and the truck B)

The BZ is an excellent motor and will certainly liven things up
