Balance Wires On Lipo's.......

Here's a quick technical question.............Basically, i have a Losi intelligent lipo balance charger - LOSB9605 and two Yeah racing 3200mAh 20c lipo packs with balance leads fitted. The losi charger comes with a selection of balance leads to fit various batteries but none of them fit directly onto my Yeah racing ones. Mine are 3 wire type - there is a 3 wire balance lead with the charger but the plug end is different to my battery and wont fit.

I've bought a 3 wire balance lead - which arrived today - and the one end now fits my battery, but the other end doesn't fit the charger - so now i have a 3 wire lead from the charger and a 3 wire lead from the battery ok, but i still can't connect either up!. The wires are in the same place - as in - red/red and black/black - the only difference being with the Losi wires is i have 2 black wires and one red rather than 1 black, 1 blue and 1 red - as on my batteries and the new balance lead.

My question is, can i just cut off the white multi plug from the incorrect end of the losi lead and the incorrect end off the lead i've bought and simply rejoin the wires up without them and make the correct balance wire.
