hi

I have noticed that there are a lot more vintage cars on ebay and for a good price these days. Dont now if its the recession or just people having summer clear outs

as when i was looking for a ta-01 escort cosworth they where going for £100 and now have got hold of two for less than £50 with radio gear and in good condtion

and just watched a vintage hornet with box go for £32 a bargin ???

I think you would have to be deaf and blind NOT to notice fella.

Saying that,i have been offered £650.00 for my 1/10 Pilot Cosworth [no electrics included]and i refused ,so i guess it`s all about how good they are and you can`t really generalise that much eh?

Yep, prices are going down. My KingCab was half the price of one I almost won before Christmas, and it looks in better condition.

Trouble is, at these prices I'm just buying project after project and never have time to fix them...

Well I got the Hornet up and running properly today, fully ballraced, fast motor, esc replacing MSC etc. Pajero is fully done, next project will be either the KingCab or the Mardave Caterham. Clod is just too big a project to think about until I get my new house. It's going to have two SuperStock BZ motors, two LiPo packs, axle mounted steering, classic body with Chevy grille and original decals...

Worked out today I now have 15 RCs, 10 of which are running...if only they would all fit in my signature!

WOW! ! Can't believe I just scored another Nikko Venus buggy. For the very very cheap price of AU$4.59. There was no one bidding against me! I almost feel sorry for the seller because it's worth a fair bit more than that. Looks to be in very good condition too, far better than the one I've used through my teenage years and have since fitted a micro brushless to. This one will remain completely standard if it works 100%. I'll be able to video modified vs standard so I can see the performance difference.

I'd back this up, from the seller's side as well. Just sold my hopped up Kyosho Blizzard and spares plus a heavily customised M-04M with unusual Stratos shell and both went for a lot less than I think they would have done even 6 months ago <_<

I was going to sell more complete models, but sadly think I may actually get better prices for them if I break them up and sell them as spares. Its either that or just hang onto them for a year or so and see if things improve. It really is a buyers market at the moment imho.

Howdy, a couple of months ago I picked-up two electrics one with a XB-chasis with ferrari shell the other late model electric-monster-struck 1/10 and the a Nitro car that was not tuned properly being also a late model but worth less here in Aussie. However the starting bid was $50- but people were emailing him asking if price was for each car...he replies no...for all! With no one listening I won them all for AUD$70!

All the best, 3turncarby.

I just missed out on a vintage near mint 1984 Grasshopper (no radio gear) by 50p! Up until I bid on it, it was resting at £21 with an hour to go. I couldn't see it going for that!!! So I put a max bid on for £37.50... it went for £38 :) but at least I played my part in getting the seller a bit more money...

Just had a look at it, guess the upside-down wing decal didn't inspire confidence in many buyers.
