Ok i have had a little search and couldn't work out which shock towers and shocks to use.

I've heard the GPM ones are good, but don't know where to get them and i was thinking the t/e maxx shocks but they come in a pack of 8 so mabey some one wants to go half's

Otherwise i'll find another use for them.

I was thinking of the mtroniks ecs and venom fireballs as there 0 timed.

If someone can help with any of the above i'd be really appreciative.

Also has anyone else had a problem with the steering servo mounting? mine keeps falling off : (

Venom Fireball motors are junk, and they have advance as they come out of the packet. They do have an adjustable end-bell however and you can get the same amount of advance either direction.

To replace dampers, measure them and get similar length in alloy. T-Maxx/E-maxx I would expect to be too long.

No i wanted to replace the dampers with bigger ones!

And to do this i need aftermarket shock towers which i have seen recommended.

But i can't find where to get them?

Which motors are good value for money and likely to last me a while i'm only bashing.

I have a Peak Racing 19T double and it is very fast, I would recommend it, have also heard good things about the EZRUN brushless combo.

I'm getting a Blackfoot extreme and I believe it has the same exact chassis as the Dual Hunter. The aluminum shock towers from GPM for 4" shocks are here.

clickhere Not sure where you live, but that is what your looking for.

I'm also getting the Tamiya Super Stock BZ 23 turn motor for my truck.. I heard nothing but good things about it and is highly recommended by the club members here. It has great torque and is faster rpm over the stock motors. You would need two of them obviously.

I'm going with an LPR ESC... I also have done research and people here highly recommend them.

For your servo problem, I have found this website... here is a link for a fix to the Wild/dagger/dual hunter/twin detonator servo problem. clickhere I would bookmark that website.. www.rcdaggerweb.com.. It has great information on all the TL-01 based trucks.

Cheers for the link Eric but i'm in the U.K. England but if no one else can help me with a supplier then i'll have to get them shipped over  that means a long wait !

I've got two sports tuned which i'm going to try first.

That servo fix is great tho thanks :D

Is there anywhere in the u.k. i can get es.the gpm towers from?

What are good shock to use? i think i'll go with the traxxas on

Here is a good article done by Mad Axe here at Tamiya club.... It is good information fo rthe GPM shock Towers and how to set them up on your Dual Hunter.. They work for Twin Detonator/blackfoot extreme/dagger and your dual hunter..

Ok you're in the UK... I'm in United States, but I know I've seen a UK based shop online in here some place that has al the GPM towers and such for our dual hunter/blackfoot extremes.

Give me a little time and I'll find it.

Seen loads of good options from 70mm to 160mm

some really nice ones that are 115mm but not sure if that is too big?

Whats the store in Hong Kong called?

if you go on ebay.co.uk and type in Item number: 270350382424

I'm not settled on shock yet either lol.. I keep hearing that 4" 100 mm are the ones to get.. Plastic ones for a E-Maxx I believe.

I out up a link to that store in the last post, but here it is... clickhere
