Painting Sand Scorcher Box Art

Hi all

I know that this subject must of been done to death but a search turned up so many replies i got lost in it all.

Can someone please tell me if the Tamiya fine surface primer in grey is suitable for priming a genuine scorcher shell. Im intending on painting it in box art colours.

Also, the paint codes for the box art paint would be most helpful too.

I would probably use white primer,the blue is TS-10[French blue] and the white is TS-26 [pure white] .

I have found the primer and the paints.

Are these colours available for application via an airbrush ?

The late great Ken Martin just used to off load a spray can into an airbrush pot when needed,

i seem to remember him saying it needed thinning a bit.

Remember, Tamiya white spray are very thing and tends to drip...
