Anyone ineterested there is a good Touring Car race on this weekend 18-19th April. Its the start of the 2009 Southern League Challenge Cup SLCC. Its open practice on Saturday and full on racing Sunday. Its a bit late to take part but if you are in the area it may be worth coming down for a visit.

This was a great weekend, the weather was superb and the racing was close and fast. There where three classes being run 17.5, 13.5 and 10.5 brushless. There were around 120 drivers showing the strength of Touring Car racing in the South is as strong as ever. The watch word of the weekend was Thermalling, many many people suffereing from early retirement during Practice from this cruel enforced early bath caued primarily by over gearing and too much sun LOL:)

Not a race report just a hint at what goes on, the next SLCC is May 16th and 17th at Cotswolds Race Track which in my mind is one of the finest RC tracks in the country. It would be good to see some TC members there.
