I've just been wondering; Tamiya's Rising Fighter has been out for a short time now.

Has anyone purchased one of these new Kits? Whats the overal verdict on its quality and performance?

...And is it on a par with the good old fashion Grasshopper

i wouldnt say it was on par as far as cool looking goes. grasshopper wins that hands down! grasshopper only comes with a 380 motor though, which is easily upgraded, not sure what the rising fighter comes with.. thats worth checking i guess.

Looks like a slightly altered grasshopper II chassis with a 540 motor. Terrible handling and vintage hard body looks. What's not to love?

I want one too. Its been on my list for a few months now. Soon. Very soon.
