Ive Caught Bug.........

I have been looking for a while now at these crawler trucks, been on you tube and all that and i am really really getting into them now and i am desperately looking at getting one. The trouble is all i know about them is what i have seen on the videos and a bit of what i have picked up here, Tamiya cr01, axiall ax10, just to mention a couple of names. What i am wondering is can anyone point me in the direction of what kits are out there, whats the best make to go for, what have you got. Prices and radio gear costs are something i havent delved into yet either. Show me the light people please. I know its not tamiya but are these losi's any good compared to the tamiya crawlers or are they different ends of the scale?
