Hi all!

I just ordered a 'O.S. 12CV-X Pull Start [OSMG11242]Engine' for my Tamiya TG10-Mk.1 Subaru Impreza WRC 2001 [44034]. I just realized that the 'carburetor' is positioned the other way around if compared to the Tamiya FS-12LT engine (supplied with the kit) and there is no way that the servo can reach the throttle arm!

Can the carburetor be turned around? How about the servo - must I use the 'reverse switch' on the transmitter? Since I don't know much on engines, can somebody please, please help me!

Your help, good people, is highly appreciated!!

Thanks

Usually the carb should just be held in with basically a nut and bolt, the bolt is usually shaped a certain way to hold the carb.

You should be able to remove whatever is holding the carb in,turn the carb around then refit it all.

There are a few ways the carb can be held but you should have no problem in turning the carb around, not every RC car is built the same so there has to a provision to be able to do this sort of thing.
