I picked up a Mini Monster beetle for a little project Im working on (Im building a desktop Crawler) and after running it round the front room for a bit started pulling it apart - as you do :o

And sitting inside it was a Marui 'Hi-power special' Tune up Motor - how cool is that?

Not sure if it actually is any better but the sticker sure looks good

If you want some tiny hop-up fun, a Mini-Z is good for that. Teeny tiny rear oil damper, SSG friction plate and suspension bar upgrades, ball bearings, ball diffs, motors, MOSFET upgrades, bling wheel nuts and steering knuckles...

Losi 1:36 Micro-T/B would be the best micro for upgrades. You can replace every part for alloy or carbon fibre. There's even tiny brushless motors and Li-Po for them.

There's no way I'd ever buy another Mini-Z. The MR-01 Subaru I bought (AU$300 when they first came out) didn't last 5 minutes before the rear T-bar snapped and it spat a gear out of the expensive steering servo. The radio board is weak compared to the Losi's (which handles 7.4v Li-Po fine). I would rather use the Micro-T parts and build a tourer from it by modifying parts than buy another Mini-Z. The X-mods even have more upgrade options than a Mini-Z.

I'll sell the remainder of my Mini-Z if anyone wants it. The body is as new, never crashed with about 5 minutes runtime. Chassis has been dismantled to raid out useful parts.
