Still waiting for my bc they didnt deliver it yesterday because of a mess up at depot!

Okay, I've just finished building the chassis. I must say that they definitely have improved it.

But why oh why did some absolute johnson decide to equip the Re Release Rough Rider with a Johnson???

It should have had a Mabuchi.

Anyway....what colour is on the box? Its definitely a red, isn't it? Not orange?

that's what i thought too... box lid looks bloodorange red but the RTR BCs (TTG & Tomy) are both a yellower orange

The manual says TS-12 Orange...

The Rough Rider boxart are red-ish as well and not orange...

Two great pieces of news for me this morning....mine finally arrived from Stella...and yet again I avoided import duty which not only is fantastic but is also something of a surprise since I was certain I would get hit this time as Parcelforce have had it for 5 days.

Over the years when I have debated with fellow TC members I always stated my belief that a SRB re-re was not only possible but also that it would cost ~£200. Well mine came in at £211 all in so I was not that far off!

Only slight downside is that mine suffers from the same slight damage to the blister packing around the motor. I wonder what happened with these and if a second production run would be the same? This has not taken any pleasure away from this in any shape or form though as I will be building it this weekend. It still feels slightly surreal to see one of these NIB in my bedroom, to be honest.

Got mine finally today after parcel force messed up on Friday! I got charged £35 for pleasure to from customs!

Got charger and life battery with mine to! blister pack was bit dented on mine to and some is coming form the card but im going to build mine so no biggy not much in the box

it looks like theres not many parts to it lol!

Nope i just enjoy these cars and like making hopups for them and i have a buddy who has a high dollar CNC machine for fun in his shop. If there are other parts people would like let me know and I can look into having them done.

Got it from RC Champ in Japan with the BC kit, for a good price i think as i cant find charger or batt for sale in UK yet!

Had an email from Neil at time tunnel last night, saying the UK kits had landed in the UK yesterday morning and he expected to have the kits on thursday. I imagine this is also the case for most official UK retailers. It's going to be a fun weekend :-)

YEP!!!! Just received mine from Tower Hobbies!!! Tower still shows availability for early August.. seems like I got in on the initial order!! I'm flying out tomorrow to Las Vegas for a Bachelor Party.. now I wish I wasn't lol.

Does anyone know if the Black Can Sport Tuned motor will fit the buggy champ yet?
