Baja 500?

Recently aquired an rc car, that looks like a vw Beetle. Has a nitro engine sticking out of the back, has koni shocks and is really well built. Looks like a tamiya sand scorcher, but isnt battery!

Really need some help on this! Dont have a clue what make it is, where to get parts or anything?!

Pics are below, please help! would love to get a new engine!

Sorry, don't know, it's more Starsky and Hutch than Tamiya Sand Scorcher.

Definitely not a Mardave, and as you can probably guess definitely not a Tamiya.

Any reason to assume that it's not home made ? As far as I can see from the pic it's only the front suspension that looks cast.

looks like an older kyosho landjump to me... or a landjump minus cage.

look at the picture found on TC, the konis and trailing arms setup are similar..

What you have there is a Sankyo Sigma and your model should have a Datsun Fairlady body like this.

there were earlier models with basicly the same chassi but with BMW M1 or a buggy body.
