Anyone Buy A Levant?

I noticed this truggy on the Tower Hobbies website:

I also see a very small number of posts on this forum about it. Has anyone purchased one of these and have an opinion?

That is why I am asking. This whole forum salivates over new Tamiya products. How come this one is not generating any kind of buzz? Terry? Mark? Comments?

I suspect it's because it's an RTR (where's the fun in that?), and even by truggy standards, it looks like it took a real beating with the ugly stick

I agree with all the above! I would purchase a AE SC10 for $200+, you could not give me the Levant!!

In my opinion it looks a bit dated and its only just released,

For the money id just jazz another car with shocks bear's and a brushless,

I'll second that one.

I think it will be much cooler if they did this Levant to a short course truck, rather than an on road truggy. With the right Tamiya Detailed body shell, wheels and tires. Cool, 4wd short course truck! Much better if it is a kit also.
