glancyguy 69 Posted June 4, 2009 Hello Forums, I noticed this truggy on the Tower Hobbies website: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti00...=LNWXW8&P=G I also see a very small number of posts on this forum about it. Has anyone purchased one of these and have an opinion?
B.M.T. 127 Posted June 4, 2009 I've never heard of it before Brushless, they say....
glancyguy 69 Posted June 4, 2009 That is why I am asking. This whole forum salivates over new Tamiya products. How come this one is not generating any kind of buzz? Terry? Mark? Comments?
Jonny Retro 12 Posted June 4, 2009 That is why I am asking. This whole forum salivates over new Tamiya products. How come this one is not generating any kind of buzz? ... I suspect it's because it's an RTR (where's the fun in that?), and even by truggy standards, it looks like it took a real beating with the ugly stick
mymonsterbeetleisbroken 16 Posted June 4, 2009 It has been covered... Here
highflyer 73 Posted June 5, 2009 I suspect it's because it's an RTR (where's the fun in that?), and even by truggy standards, it looks like it took a real beating with the ugly stick I agree with all the above! I would purchase a AE SC10 for $200+, you could not give me the Levant!!
Rambo John J 0 Posted June 9, 2009 In my opinion it looks a bit dated and its only just released, For the money id just jazz another car with shocks bear's and a brushless, C'mon TAMIYA, Were hungry, n your not feedin us what we crave!!!

Danbox 1 Posted June 11, 2009 If they weren't so expensive, I'd love to get one and put a VW shell on it.
billg4 25 Posted June 11, 2009 rebadged ez-run hobbywing brushless setup And ugly as SIN too Tamiya should kit bash one of thier 4wd kits and make a CORR-TORC short course race truck instead of making something sooooo unwanted and ugly.
4wdmt 2 Posted June 12, 2009 Tamiya should kit bash one of thier 4wd kits and make a CORR-TORC short course race truck instead of making something sooooo unwanted and ugly. I'll second that one. I think it will be much cooler if they did this Levant to a short course truck, rather than an on road truggy. With the right Tamiya Detailed body shell, wheels and tires. Cool, 4wd short course truck! Much better if it is a kit also.
