Edit: Seller changed his mind, he's keeping the Bruiser. You can ignore this post, unless you still want to comment on its price. I can still have a use for the info.

Hi all,

I've been wanting to have a Bruiser for a while now and I came accross this one, but is it worth it for USD400? How much do they go right now? Maybe it is and I just need somebody else to tell me. Would you pay 400 for this?

From the pics, it's missing the battery plate/mounts, receiver box cap, and he said the inner rims are not there anymore. Can you spot anything else missing? I hope it has the mirror!!!

Please ignore the Ultima chassis.

Thanks in advance for you advice.

what if i don't want to ignore that ultima? lol

idk, 400 is steep in my book for an incomplete truck.

i would expect to pay 400 for a well worn runner. that said it looks really clean.

btw, does the ultima come with it?

It's definitely worth it

They seem very cheap now, get it while CAD is still pretty high. I got mine when it was nearly on par

That was easily worth $400. hilux bodies are easy to come by and like loaded said the box is worth something also.

A NIB collector would give $200 just for the box.

Paul.

Is that true? If that is the case then should the Sand Scorcher re-re happen the Bruiser will become the new Holy Grail and will remain forever so because I really, really don't see it ever getting a re-release.

 Ok here's a question....based on what the price the Buggy Champ is selling for, what do we think a re-re Bruiser would cost?

Double! at least JPY 70,000ish i'd think

I tend to agree with you. Not sure it would be that much but would definitely be heading for the £400 mark.

I think now, there is little chance of a re-re Bruiser, because, really, Tamiya would be left with a whole heap of Highlifts they would not be able to move.
