Just a few pictures of my TT01 M-Chassis conversion. Currently running the wheelbase at 225mm to fit the Swift body. Equipped with full bearings, 3racing propshaft, shocks & graphite shock tower stiffeners. Motor is 15X2 Team Orion. Tyres are M-Chassis 60D type A on the rear & S grips on the front. Goes very well, really nimble compared to the original TT01. I would highly recommend this conversion to anyone who wants to revive a tired TT01.

Hi,

Just bought one of these conversion kits as I wanted a 4 wheel drive mini. I'm having major suspension binding issues, anyone else having this problem ? I've tried shortening the upper arms pins but this hasn't sorted the problem out. Anyone got a solution ? Also, I noticed that building the arms as per the manual has them out of line with the dogbones, therefore they have had to be fitted the opposite way round.

I also had the wheelbase problem, and I've fitted aTtamiya Mini shell which has the front wheels a bit too far forward.

When I get it finished, I'll post some pics. Thanks for your help.

Just a thought, the steering is also very tight, I've used standard TT01 front knuckles, should I be using M03 ones ???

Update -

The root of the problem has been found. Whilst building up the kit, I put M03 universal driveshafts inplace of the kit dogbones. They turned out to be a little too long. When I fitted the dogbones, the suspension was fine with no binding. Problem solved !!
