Since i don’t have a show room i thought i might post some pics here so you can see my project finished. This is a bleetzer body painted with airbrush and tamiya colours. The decals are eBay repro but very nice. I believe that rc models are for road and deserve some punishment so yes this is a runner. I was surprised about how good handling this model have on the ground and im curious to know what would be if it had a diff. Now with the new re-re i hope that many option parts will be available. Finally a childhood dream came true.

Hope you like it.

I am very glad to see another member from Greece..!! Were did you go to run it..?? Is it Faliro..?? Very nice looking SS and the paint job on this Blitzer body is superb.! I see my rear body clip is holding the body in place...

I think there is no need for a diff , especially for off-road/sand use.The steering maybe a bit off but thats the fun of driving an SRB chassis.!!

Take care mate.!

Very nice hhhmmm almost more tempting to wait for this to be a re-release and not get the re-re rough rider hhhmmm tricky.

To convert from one to another is it a case of diff body + mounts and wheels and tyres? if they do re re the scorcher then that body will be

availible as a spare coool!

Thanks

Wow !

I must admit i've never really thought the Sand Scorcher looked that good  but I think now thats down to them all being clean and shelfed, that looks great !

Glad you like it. The shocks are GPM for mini t with purple springs, but the rear are too shoft for the weight of the car. Ive been told that subaru bratt rear springs are perfect. I just dont got them.

Great looking paint job. When you get time you have to find an SS repo nose cone or chop down a Monster Beetle nose cone. They fit the front of the car so much better and are worth the hunt/price. When you car is so close to perfect, I couldn't help but comment.

Fantastic detail on the paint job, love those panel break lines and it is great to see it running.

Thank you James,

I hope that someone take some ideas from my car as i took from other cars i found here. Im pretty sure that Tamiya will re-release the sand scorcher so i will wait for an original nose. I just dont like those resin repro because resin brakes very easy, not good for a runner.

so the shocks would be part number smt355r?

the front ones i take it?

i have touring car rear shocks in mine, works very well. but i have a problem with the fronts being ****, so the gpm ones look the goods.

No its the SMT 360. You need the rear shocks for your frond (purple springs). They are 60mm and fit better than the smt 355. They work great. The only think is that you have to extend them with longer M2 ball ends you can find at ebay.co.uk Item number #110410045825.

And since i dont want to take the glory this is Blacque Jacque mod.

Gordini I can only echo the sentiments of other members - one of the nicest looking Scorchers I've seen.

Superb resto job and it looks great out "in the field" as opposed to on the shelf.

Well done mate, great pics that really capture the essence of the Scorcher.
