Have NO idea if this been done before on TC Forums but here it goes.

Fill in the blank to the foolowing : Dont you just hate ......................

I´ll go first. Dont you just hate when you spent almost 2 hours masking up a Lexan body just to find that the spray-can you were sure was unopened turned up be next to empty !!! B)

Especially when you have to order new ones from out of country :)

That new Bronco body takes a LOT of masking : rear bumper, wheelwells and two tone paint.

Mine have to be when e-clips go TWAAAANNNNGGG!!! never to be seen again, the cats infuriating habit of chewing aerial tubes, and spending hours cleaning your hobby room/area just to get it messy again with one of those "5 minute jobs"!!!

the cats infuriating habit of chewing aerial tubes,

haha... good to see my cat's not the only one that does this :( she also rubs the side of he face on any corner of my RC's

Dont you just hate it when, you pre-allocate your leftover pay to a RC, and then one of those 'bill' things comes in the mail? :)

dang bill's getting in the way of my of my RC spendin' *shakes fist* B):)

She's just marking them... "This one's mine... And this one's mine... And this one... And... Aww heck they're ALL mine!"

Don't you just hate the time between your car going out of control and it going full pelt into a solid object seems like forever

Don't you just hate..

... when for the last two hours you finally managed to bend a custom alloy front bumper for your scorcher and then the one tip with a threaded section breakes off when cutting the thread and you can throw away the piece.

And since you now know the dimensions and you want to start a second one, you notice you#ve run out of material and it is Saturday 20:05 - all shops are closed by now....

Oh how I hate this!!!

.. when you decide that the best time to build that shiney new NIB kit you bought is when you're worse for a couple of jars of larger.

Oooo look... big packet of small bits. I'll just open that with my fingers instead of using the scissors like I normally would. *spooossssshhhh... tinkle tinkle tinkle tinkle*.

I never had any customs problems/fees yet, but with the parcel that's on it's way it well could be that it will drop off with a fee; it's my biggest order yet from outside Europe. Let's hope I won't have these problems, because those fees are very, very nasty surprises indeed! :(

Don't you just hate it when you have to wait for your order to arrive? I still have to wait at least 7 more working days for my new radio set and brushless system!

Dont you just hate.................one-ended threads that serve no real purpose and give nothing back to the community? :)

You know, even a bad hour in the workshop is usually better than a good hour at my dull job, or waiting at the dentist's office, or stuck in traffic, or doing laundry. I've got no complaints.

Sorry, I'm getting much too cynical in my old age... :)

I think there is way to much hate kicking around all together. The things stated above as hate are really more annoying things.

Hate can cover a wide range of things and is generally used for serious matters, not loosing a C clip [small hate=irritating]

The topic title is more than a bit negative[iMO],many will of thought about creating a new topic titled "Don`t you just love" but that could be mis-interprited[sp]

for sarcasm and the haters move in again.

Not having a go,but writing and the written word has some serious limitations, that can lead to mis-understanding.

The topic was started as a light hearted thing without doubt, but at the moment people are looking for things to blame for everything that is wrong in the world. That is why the net is very quiet at the moment,no one wants to put thier foot in it by saying something they didn`t really mean or describe properly.

Chins up folks, there are more lovers than haters, even in these tough times.

The things i hate are not suitable to write on a family forum and certainly nothing to do with RC models.

I come to TC to see what people love.

TC is not over moderated, which is why this thread is still here.

This is just my opinion,i might even change it from time to time :( and no offence is intended towards anyone :)

when you just want to go for a quick run and realise there is nothing that you can just pick up and take out now. That despite the apparent large number of rc items you have laying around, it always takes at least an hour to get something ready & charged and by that tmie the feeling/opp/sun has gone!!

lol

Honest to God , it WAS ment to be seen on the humorous side !!! I laughed at myself when I found out that I mistook an almost empty spray-can for a full one , and I came up with this idea for a topic since I assumed that many of TC members experience similiar things and I wanted to hear of it. Simple as that !!! And maybe I underestimated peoples ability to understand that when I use the word hate I dont necessarly mean it in the same sence when I f.ex say I hate Hitler !! But OK, it was a bad choice of word I admit. If I ever does something like this I will use this instead : I dont care to much for !! Would that be moore appropiate ?? :D

I love threads like this. There's those humourous "D'oh!" moments that we all have, and a number of them we've probably all had at one time or another. Anything that we can identify as a common experience be it a love of or hankering after a particular kit, (being the most obvious) or the slightly less obvious and, I have to say, more imaginative example like this one, is what makes a community.

Far from concentrating on the negative, it's a humourous look at some of the things that we all have in common.

So, from my POV... Bravo OP!!
