Tamiya1/10 382 Posted May 12, 2012 You all young pups out there, your interest will deminish but do not get rid of the collection if you have the space and in no need of the funds because the passion will return even in your 50s. However, if you are in your 70's and no one within your family or friends are interested in your hobby than is time to unload while you still can. The thought of the Estate Trustee don't know much about your collection thinking is just toys and unloads them for $200.00 get to me just thinking about it. Else organize it so they know the value or at least how much you paid for them and the year was purchased. Is better to get as much back as possible from your passion or at least you know the buyers appreciate you collections....but what do I know, I am only

Sidey 0 Posted May 17, 2012 Wandy....TOP THREAD!!! Im nudging 40 in December and was wondering what to hound the missus for a pressie........B2B springs to mind. Having 2 young boys means I can now go beserk buying stuff and blame it on them.Im a big fan of the TL01 chassis so I got busy in the last 12 months and built 4 cars based on that chassis, 2 standard Baja Champs,a big wheel version and a roadrace car with a mustang body. Mr Shelby is one of my messiahs in the auto industry so Im finishing the mustang in a GT based paintjob and it will be a shelf queen. The local track I drive at has quite a few guys 30-40+ so it was a good to see I aint alone!
