Okay, the wife made me do an inventory and organization as she insisted I have "lost track" of what I have. Well, I discovered that yes, I certainly have gathered much more than I remember. Although my collection does not compare to some members (loaded, hong kong - but who does LOL) I seem to have certainly lost track.

Anyway, my showroom on the main page rpresents some NIB's and New Builts & Former Models along with a project in progress (well stowed away for now).

Showroom Stats:

22 NIB's Posted.

10 New Builts

1 Project

Actual Stats:

28 NIB's

10 New Builts

2 box of tires/wheels/parts

2 boxes of classic RCCA's, Tamiya Guide Books, Tamiya Catalogs, Tamiya Modern Catalogs.

So, how many things do you have that aren't posted ? Why ? My reason ? Laziness .

My showroom is missing a handful of projects that I simply don't want to post until they are ready. I'd posted incomplete projects when I first joined TC but then I decided that I wasn't going to do that anymore. Pity that my projects never seem to get finished. They'll never get posted!

Hahahaha, that's what i was going to say  but replace handfull with bucket-load ;)

I am really bad for half finished projects.

I did a "inventory" the other day and added a few of the cars that wasn't added, so now I can say: "Yes, but all pictures aren't showing current state"...

I am chasing that discipline, you get excited by your plans and frustrated by your slow progress and end up posting a half finished project which on reflection is just a rubbish idea. Then when you do finally post the finished product people are bored by it, seen it all before type thing - well thats what i think of my work anyway. Other members details are fantastic to see when being built - I am thinking some of the scale truck stuff.

Anyway I am pretty much up to date and I also delete stuff I no longer own which on the one had depletes a pretty small collection at least keeps it real. I still have the pictures on my PC to remember what I once owned.

I guess missing are...

Finished Rough Rider

Customised Blazing Blazer Suspension

TamTech Porsche 934 - Valiant edition

My showroom doesn't nearly show my whole collection. I have over 10 cars now, but only a few of them are posted and one the posted cars (the TB01 Mitsubishi Evo VI) went off to join someone else's collection  I have some project cars that I didn't post yet, but which I will post once nearing completion or when they are actually done

My showroom bears no resemblance to my collection.

Photos have gone in when I acquired cars, usually as I have no idea how long or even if I will get around to restoring them. I really should update the pictures of ones I've worked on.

Also at a rough guess my showroom is missing 30-40 cars from my collection, most of them vintage 1/12th scales and a lot of duplicate buggies to the ones I already have.

My showroom was missing a lot of stuff that I didn't get around to taking pictures of. I quickly deleted my entire showroom when my ex-Wife said she was going to take half my cars. It was too late, she had printed off every entry.

Eventually I will sign back on and upload some new pictures

I have a few monster beetles that aren't posted, as they are in bits

Also got 3 thundershot chassis, again mostly in bits.

There's a rough M01 mini that I never got around to adding, and an M04 beetle in "highlighter pen" orange. (I'll add it once the shell has been given the rat rod treatment!)

I've got spare parts all over the place, they'll need sorting out some day!

I don't know how many I see everyday that says "Sold"?!!

If it's sold why keep it in your showroom?

Doesn't it says, If you don't own it don't post it? or something...?

I've got a few that I bought with an eye to restore but never got round to. As with hedge, I had posted plenty of ideas that I never got round to doing anything with so decided against posting any more. At the moment I have not listed;

Highlift Hilux that is built but needs the paint finishing

Kyosho Scorpion in pieces needing a couple of bits

TA-02 Merc C-Class DTM that I was given

Spektrum radio

A couple of body sets

I think I'm due a bit of a clear out, it's about time I sold some of the stuff I bought for the sake of buying and used some of the cash to finish restoring/repairing/finishing what I actually want!

Well, in that case you wouldn't be able to post many great vintage pictures because they are either completely broken, lost, binned or sold. And furthermore you couldn't post cars that you had, and the pictures you put a lot of effort into (like the photoshoot of my Mitsubishi Lancer VI).

I just put my sold cars and parts in the 'Extra Info' part of the model number and 'Sold' in the title, so they are not confused with cars I still own.

I'm guilty . I have a few in the "extra info" section that have moved on but only because they are sweet builds (my opinion) that I think members should still see. Of course, anything that is standard and has moved on is deleted from my showroom .

I haven't updated my showroom in at least 2 years seems like (and haven't renewed my account) but I count 40ish cars in there, but I definitely have more now. One day I'll renew and update, a lot has been going on since my last contribution.

I got out of RC for a good while, nearly sold off my collection, but I'm glad I held off and hung on to everything as I'm starting to get back into them now when I have a bit of time to spare. Surely I would have regretted selling any of my cars, especially ones I haven't run yet, as I do plan on running every single one of them someday.

Just missing three models (runner and 2 project runners) as my digital Camera died about 8 months ago. Many pictures need to be updated (action pics etc). Otherwise, it is complete.

Like most of you, I have several W.I.P which don't appear in my showroom, off the top of my head;

Nearing completion;

TT01R Countach

TT01 Audi Quattro

TT01 C3 Corvette

M04 Lancia Stratos rally version

A lexan bodied Monster Beetle, toughened for proper bashing.

Associated RC12 L3 just needs some tlc, new tyres & electrics.

Awaiting strip down & resto

2 x Monster Beetle

Totally in bits

2 x SRB's

2 x Manta Rays

1 x Top Force

2 x TA01 tourers

A re re Brat NIB (new in bits as opposed to New in Box)

A special Blackfoot project (very secret, hence no pictures  )

Plus 2 if not 3 other ORV chassis' with no special purpose in mind at this time.

OMG I never realised I had that much :P

I've only posted cars in there that I thought would be interesting..... and also those that are accessible (having moved to a flat, I've had to put a lot in storage). They'll all come out when I next move

No I have quite a few more than are posted in my showroom. Some in bits, some new parts, and more vintage toy grade. I just love the vintage toy grade. Besides that I have over 275 Diecast 1/18th models plus over 5000 Hotwheels, Matchbox etc to play with too. And in my spare time I research and QC for a Scale Model Car Company. I really don't have enough time to photograph and catalogue everything I have accumulated over the years

Posted

Less than half my collection is in my showroom. I have a lot that are not up to "showroom" standard yet - too many projects - not enough time.

I'd get more done if I didn't spend all this time on TC

I have about half of my collection in the showroom. Many pictured have changed in some way. I don't put up many of my 'projects' and none of my 1:24 static model to RC conversions.

I do remove them when I don't have them anymore however (which has only been one NIB Pajero). Couldn't bare to sell any of the ones in my possession, even the ones that drive me nuts.

I havent signed up for tamiyaclub yet, I do plan to its just recently getting into the hobby this year has seriously dented my funds. But once Ive done my df03 proper and got my taisan built to mint and ive got a decent digital camera ill be signing up and uploading plenty of stuff, which will be soonish as ive cleared off my card and need to wait a while till the last lot of stuff blows over and i can treat myself again hehehe. its just ive been too tempted to buy motors and one ways and stuff like that more than tamiyaclub. plus no camera means i can only upload bad pics and no vids at all. but my plan is to become a proper member and get my 2 cars up there, and whatever future cars up there too.

peace out

No my showroom is in no way complete as to what i have in real life.

This is down to a few things really,

1, I like to show things that hope people find intresting or get inspired by

2, there's only so much of a "nib" kit boxs you can show

3, there's stuff thats been hidden away for so long even i've forgotten where it's gone

4, i dont have anything i would call "super rare"

5, yes im alittle lazy

6, some of it's been nicked!
