Hi all

Sorry total newbie to Nitro, [:I] I have a TGS-R Nitro and did not realize that it would not have a reverse gear like on my TT-01. [:I] Is it possible to add reverse gear to a TGS-R or do i need to learn how to drive it better.

Secondly is it normal for a large amount of fuel to come from the exhaust, i.e fuel tracks on the ground everywhere its has run, and puddles of fuel on ground if I leave it idling for a couple of minutes.

Cheers

i dont know anything about nitro....but in my mind i wouldnt want fuel coming from my exhaust or leaking when idling....i hope someone can help you out......i know what youre goin through

reverse-theres no need for it, it decreases your peformence by adding rotational weight

fuel from exaust- your mixture needles are to rich, you have to lean it more

Learn to drive better :D

no real room to put a reverse module or the reverse gears into it.

if you are still running it in, a lot of fuel may come out, but after that start to tune it, and lean it out a bit, it shouldnt spurt out that much fuel at all.

Don't lean it too much - no more than quarter of a turn in, since the thread on the carb on the car you have is quite coarse. It might be the fuel you're using though - these cars chuck out a lot of oil if you're using Quickfire16 in them but a lot less on something like Duraglow16.

The QuikFire contains pretty much castor oil witch will make the exhaust drip with oily residue...I haven't tried duraglow bu tI think I heard that it contains alot more syntectic oil witch burns better with the fuel, IMO castor oil is a complete waste of time and money...
