yes they are 2.2's they just have lower profile tyres

I just fitted DT-02 uprights (3racing alloy) to my Blitzer to do a Bear Hawk conversion so I know they will fit and have a shorter stub to take the Dyna front wheel, but don't forget the wheel will be moved in so you might have rubbing issues.

I do have the metallic special BB fronts too so I will try them on to check - at a more reasonable hour!

Well, they are still both readily available from www.rcmart.com I believe... So unless you are looking for a different type of tire you don't have to look into tire/wheel compatibility

Dt02 uprights on the Blitzer......

Dyna Blaster front wheel fits on the shorter stub perfectly BUT fouls the steering rod on full lock so no good ......

Dyna Blaster front wheel fitted on Bear Hawk. Shorter steering rods on BH means no fouling but the BH steering rods are weaker than Blitzer ones so may not be up to the job.....

Not all bad news though. Chrome Blackfoot wheels do fit perfetly with no fouling, I tried them too but forgot to take pics.

yep the Metallic Blitzer wheels are the same as the Dyna Blaster ones (three spoke silver jobs).

If you want to use the the Dyna Blaster wheels you'll have to mod the front.

The Chrome Blackfoot wheels never came with the Blitzer but they fit without any mod and are 2.2

I'm only using the DT02 uprights on my Blitzer because I want to run buggy wheels but I also want the better strength afforded but the Blitzer steering rods.

If you're gonna use Blackfoot wheels (which do look superb) the you won't need shorter axle uprights.
