I'm still keen for a beach run at some stage, as I have on order a re-re rough rider (it'll get converted to a sand scorcher fairly quickly). I had a failed beach run at Wynnum on labour day. Stupid me didn't seal the electrics properly and both cars stopped within 5 mins. My son was very disappointed, added to that we had to wait nearly 1 hour for fish and chips it was that busy, but at least the beach area was fairly clear. I'm going to re-visit how I seal the cars electronics as I don't mind running them through water.

I'm keen, but have kids party tomorrow, but I'd be good for next weekend (want to pick up that controller and battery too!). I've also finished a buggy champ, so I'm keen for a beach run as well

I don't have anywhere in mind. I sometimes go the the car park down at my old work at Cleveland, it's out of the way and well lit, but there would have to be better spots around.

I quite often visit Aldi at Capalaba. Under cover but only about 1/3 lights on after 9pm so a little dark unless you're running LEDs.
