Sorry, I'm not in town then either.  I'm free on Saturday the 14th, but I completely understand if you guys are busy with other commitments.

I could potentially do Saturday afternoon after 1.30

Yes that's good for me, sorry for the late reply.

Those are some nice photos, thanks Paul.  Yogi, I have the small Ni-MH battery that might suit your Tam Tech buggy, it's 101mm x 33mm x 17.5mm.  If it is suitable for you I will bring it next time.

Cheers, I think it will just fit, its about 1 to 2 mm bigger than the battery I bought.

I'll man up and bring the Wild Willy 2 out for drive next time too.

it was good to catch up again

on road sounds good, so does Boondall, but Boondall would probably have to be a Sunday trip for me as its a fair hike.

@Retro rules!  what do you think?

@cottontail  would you be keen to join in?

and over Christmas, we are holidaying up at the Sunshine Coast from the 27th to the 29th. Anyone keen for a get together with Mark @ap6318   if he is available?

I was thinking maybe Thorneside as it's been a few years.

I don't have much to run on tarmac - only the FAV as it has the kit tyres and an old drift car which is in pieces and has no electrics.

Happy to probs sit this one out if you guys want to do an on-road meetup though.

lets do Thornside then

It's up to you guys.

Certainly don't put off an on-road meet on my behalf.

I'll have to pull out the old drift car and revive it at some point.

Happy to do Boondall as well.

Thorneside it is!

what day? I can do this or next Sunday, not too sure beyond that at this stage.

I can't do this Sunday as we have a family thing with the in-laws.

I don't see anything on the calendar for the following Sunday though.

ahh, apologies, well, I said the 3rd would work for me, but apparently Mrs Yogi-bear is organising an bbq next Sunday, but I don't have any info yet. I am also busy the weekend after, will try and go to Supanova comic con, but after that I should  free until Christmas
