Congrats on inventing time travel! :)

The bruiser is a great build, but with that being said, time and attention to detail is essential, especially on the Bruiser.

Good luck with the rest!

you need to turn around the screws related to the rear leaf springs and leaf ends. having the nuts on the inside will create problems when you go to take the bottom servo cover on and off.

This looks like something I would enjoy immensely, unfortunately, I don't really like these kinds of trucks. Much prefer the buggies and rally cars. But I love looking at the pics.

Its seeing pics like these that make me wish tamiya would re re the bruiser or that i must buy a newer high light hilux with the mfc too!

I love how the bruiser is all metal shame the newer high lifts gone to plastic for axles etc. As if i got newer high light would end up buying optional

metal axles etc anyway, would much rather pay more at first for all metal like brusier please re re!

Is there any where online i can see a pdf of the brusier manual? how many different original 3 speeds were there?

Well, with Tamiya re-releasing cars such as the 1979 Rough Rider, one can rightfully dream about a Bruiser reissue. After all, next year the legendary 1985 Bruiser will be celebrating its... 25th anniversary!

You all have a great Friday!

it does not appear that you reversed the screws and nuts on the rear of the chassis. Other than that the truck looks good so far.

Yeah didn't get a chance to reverse the bolts on it yet. It will be done. Got excited finishing it. :P Thanks again for the reminder...

We never had the chance to have a look at the finished Bruiser. Would be nice, specially after they released a new version of this legendary 4x4 pick-up.

I'll take some pics of it.. Its been sitting on the shelf since...:P
