Definitely sounds interesting.

Whilst I appreciate that some kind of ruling has to be made & there has obviously been much discussion, 2000mAh pack limit seems a rather odd choice ?

I'm not trying to stir things up, or re-open the debate, just wondering why that was chosen ?

Hi guys

Ok the LBMCC class is our verrrry cheap feeder class at our club and is adopted by many other clubs.

The cars are run with stock motors and running very cheap batteries such as 2000mah (weve gone up since Nicads are no longer produced)

Means that we are pretty much equal and this has swamped the club with everyone wanting to race this class as its very cheap for the youngsters to get into and a very easy car to drive.

We have racers running Minis aged from 6 to over 60!!!

Even when we ran 1600mah batteries we very rarely ever had a car run out of juice even running 5 minute races.

Hope this helps to explain

Joe

Sounds a great concept and wish more clubs adopted such an approach to racing; it's not simply who has the deepest pocket wins.

If my local club did it, I'd definitely go racing - cheap, low initial cost to start racing must be the future if clubs what better participation.

We have Svein Erik from Norway coming to race!! thats dedication!

We also may have some representatives of other Chassis manufacturers in the outlaw class!

Got some big trophys planned for 1st place and some smaller for 2nd and 3rd.

Only ÂŁ10 entry fee entrance to a second class is cheaper.

Racer Magazine will be giving us support.

I also plan to hold a raffle to raise funds for the NGVFA which is the National Gulf Veterans and Familes Association

Plus we will also try and shoe horn in a Concours competition!
