Df-03ra Just Arrived!

I just received the DF-03Ra kit Subaru 07 Monte Carlo...first kit build!

As far as hop ups on order I have:

53924 DF-03 Heat Sink Bar Set

53925 DF-03 Slipper Clutch Set

I plan on using the stock motor for now....just driving it real easy no racing just light dirt and mostly asphalt...

Anything else I am missing?

I am thinking about the DF-03 inner cover to fit inside the Subaru WRC shell to block as much dirt as possible...will that work or will it be too wide to put the Subaru body on top of it?

I thought it came with the shell so u can use it with the subbie body

The Dark Impact shell can be used as an undercowl. It's a pretty decent idea that'll keep your electronics 'n stuff a little safer and a little cleaner when you go off road.

also using it on asphalt you may want to get a set of extra wheels/slicks as the rally blocks wear really fast on bitumen!

You could get some different gearing to play with, theres also front or center one way diffs (aparantly only good for racing but still fun to play with off the track), universal driveshafts, ive yet to test out new shock absorbers or springs. there is lightened gear shafts out there. i got the lightened battery stopped pin, nice and shiney havent weighed it though. turnbuckle tie rods for easy adjustment. the kit steering rack comes with plastic bushings which can be replaced with a nice aluminum one with bearings in it. led light unit and leds? theres more too im still adding bits as i can afford them.
