*** Snetterton Bash - Please Read & Vote ***

Calling everyone planning on attending the Snetterton Bash on Aug 31st:

Please vote in the polls above to indicate what car types you're planning to bring & what radio bands you will be using (so we can get an idea of numbers for frequency management).

The idea of this is so we can setup a few "organised" races for the popular car types, eg a Lunchbox / Pumpkin race, drifters etc.

Rally cars & race buggies are grouped together, mainly because they will need similar terrain.

Watercraft are included because there is a small lake adjacent to the circuit which we can also use.

Note: You will be responsible for rescuing your own stranded boats, Clod's etc

Well, when I say racing, it'll be a case of we line a dozen similar cars up on the start, & tear round like loonies for 5 minutes with someone desperately trying to figure out who's in the lead.

So, not so much racing, as (dis)orderly bashing.

The emphasis must be on the FUN element.

Wolfdogstinkus you can stick pumpkin in with Squishy Tyres, If its anything like previous meets the idea was just to have similar vehicles on track at same time.. no racing just all out fun for 15minutes or until you battery went flat

Well with that list I will have to choose which truck to take out in squishy tyres... Clod, Blackfoot, VLB, Willy, Mighty Bull!! , the more "races" there are the more chances i have to break all of em !

Whilst I admit I probably should have put a single category in for Mini's, that many options will only confuse the hard of understanding (j/k ) & TBH, we're unlikely to organise a separate race for each of those classes.

None of this is cast in stone though, if we get a dozen rally cars on the day, then there's enough for a single class race & we'll probably schedule one in, the most likely scenario is that we get enough of a couple of similar types & line them all up together.

This is just a quick poll to get a feel for the distribution of cars, if people really feel it necessary, they are more than welcome to list each individual car they're bringing here in this thread ( I think Bellysgonnagetchya could be here for a while it might be easier for him to list what he's leaving behind)

I tried to strike a balance between "getting a rough idea of numbers" and "everyone must list each vehicle individually", not easy to find middle ground on those two.
