if the price is reasonable, I think it's ok..

i reckon i can put more holes in it, and shape it down further for a leaner end product...

u forgot the antenna holder hole... and I also wonder if this will suit the short wheel base version of the FF01 (rear tower flipped front to back)

I test it this weekend to see if it fits short wheelbase. For now its only for long wheelbase.

nope it doesnt fit short wheelbase. I think i need to redo the holes to fit the short wheelbase.

redid the whole mount with thinner alum and added more holes to lighten it up. Also added hole for the antenna mount.

Original is 16 grams.

first 1 is 27 grams.

revision is 18 grams

those are the tamiya trf dampers and the springs came with them.

I think my set is discontinued because I only see this on tamiyausa

I tried to bend it with my hands but they dont bend so I guess they should be strong enough to withstand the rc car heh heh

wow very cool and good work bro... if you do make some copies i would take on... have you tried to make front mounts because i know they break all the time....
