Its fine, i run mine on the race track and on the dirt track. You get dust in your drive train from using/wearing your slipper clutch anyway and since its a dry drive-train you should have no issues. Have you sealed the body shell well using the supplied sticky back foam? getting bits in the chassis is inevitable anyway as you need the cooling ducts open. one little spot i did notice stones, gravel and dust can get into is the maintenance hole in the centre drive cover where you get access to the the lower motor mount screw, i just covered it up with some black insulation tape.

Its really fun on and off the race track. If you do break anything half the fun is fixing and rebuilding it anyway, there is always cheap spares so don't stress.

I picked up a DB01 on the advice of those on this forum. The general consensus was the gears in the DF03 can't handle a high power motor and you have to build yourself a custom shaft using a hardened pinion.

Haven't had any problems with the DB01 although by the time I got done with all the hop up parts I'm getting close to the cost of a new B44.

The Durga is amazingly tough, that video proves that nicely... the only things from those jumps that were damaged were the front shocks and they werent Tamiya ones (they were Ansmann). Out of all the cars I run I think the Durga is one of my favourites.. that one in the video is fitted with a Novak super sport 5800 brushless and the only hopups I have found necessariy are a slipper clutch and aluminium wishbone pivot blocks.

More proof, if proof is needed, for how strong these buggies are.

Those were photos of the mild jumps, before I tried the double height ramp. (hopefully he will post those soon too.)
