Just a couple of questions..

I currently have the standard 60D mini tyres on the my M03. Can you get softer compounds and slicks? I have heards or A, S and M tyres but are they in some order of stickiness?

I want more grip on a tarmac circuit.

Finally my tyres always wear in the insides first on the front. Does anyone else have this? The car is very low but hardly as any negative, but I do run a little toe-out to help with cornering.

Cheers,

Mini tyres are a real can of worms! :) Then there’s the question of inserts…

If you’re running the car low you’ll have camber which when combined with toe will wear the inside of tyres out at an accelerated rate. You could replace the front upper arms with adjusters (like the M03R/M05pro rear) to correct the camber if wear is that much of a problem.

Yes, the M grips and S grips will give you more grip than standard.

There are a wide range of much grippier tyres for the minis, like these slicks. Generally the lower the shore number the softer the tyre.

If you are running indoors and they are allowed, nothing beats the Xpress foams, but they don't take long to wear out on tarmac.

As Vince says, you are wearing out the inside edges because you've lowered the chassis without straightening up the wheels to compensate for the changed suspension geometry. When you are cornering the tyres are riding on the inside edges rather than the wider tread of the tyre, so you get less grip and greater wear. Making up some adjustable top links to straighten up the tyres again will fix the wear problem.
