How To Test Mah Capacity Of My Packs?

I dont have a fancy all singing and all dancing charger, so how can i check how well my batteries are, can i test with a multimeter or is there a meter i can buy to test and show me the capacity of my packs.

You could hook the batts to a (few) light bulb(s) and measure the amp draw and then take time how long it takes for the lights to go dim...then you have to calculate the amp/hours from the time it took...
