I think i want to keep it scale but was looking for lift kit that i bought for my last hi lift a few years back, cant seem to find any for sale, can anyone link to somewhere.

I was woundering about different shocks and maybe some softer leaf springs as i remember them being quiet hard even on the softest setting.

What other upgrades would you advise, some pictures/tutorials would be great.

only thing i bought is the junfac Front steering kit.

Im wanting to look at what i can do with my newly aquired hi lift, just want some advise on where i should be looking and if anyone could suggest anything i should be looking at.

Its already ballraced throughout, i have a junfac axle servo mounting kit on its way to me, other than that im not sure.

any help or advise would be great.

yeh i had looked at the 4 link from junfac, ive already fitted there heavy duty servo axle mount, but i like the leaf spring idea, looks more scale, just wanted to soften the front up a bit.

What I've read is that the delrin leafs are a lot more forgiving over rough terrain, not the bouncy bouncy standard shock. Just have a look at some pics of truck with them fitted, can't find any at the moment, but I know I,ve seen a Hilux with them fitted and the articulation is super. With the Junfac extenders that you can add it will give much better articulation with the standard shocks but it will still bounce around as it obviously doesn't soften the leafs.

Pity that the chassis is a straight piece and not something fancy like the Hilux or Bruiser of the days gone by. Not that scale looking. Maybe on the shock side check out this double setup on Daniel's truck.

Very different and it looks uber cool!

Good luck on the mod and keep us posted on the outcome.

Cheers

I have a Junfac 4 link system and set of transition 90mm shocks available for cheaper than you can buy them on Ebay/Junfac. The advantage is that they are in the UK so postage will be pretty quick if you're in the UK too!
