9zapp 0 Posted November 3, 2009 Hi there, Just waiting for my new M03 mini to build and have been wondering is it worth fitting a ball diff' Car will be just for fun and general messing with mates it will be stock except for the tamiya rz motor..... which diff is best the manta ray one or the ta03 diff which is about £10 pound dearer' I just want it to handle nice and be able to put the power down
Butler 338 Posted November 3, 2009 Go for the TA-03 diff. The Manta ray one is heavy and not as easy to adjust.
irenL 0 Posted November 3, 2009 Both the mantaray and TA03 ball diff will still require you to split the clamshell chassis to gain adjustment to them I'd recommend 3R ball diff. Works a treat, cost less, and you only need to remove a suspension pin to adjust it with allen key. Currently in my FF02 (another variant of the M03 chassis).
