Problem with TT-01 ESC

I bought a TT-01 for my girlfriend and the ESC that comes with it(the TEU-101BK seems to have problems straight out of the box.

I turn on the power, the light flashes twice, pauses, and then starts beeping at a constant, excruciatingly annoying rate.

What it should do is flash once and stay blank until setup is done.

Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes? Help would be appreciated it. I don't know if Tamiya has tech support but I'll go ahead and assume it sucks so I'd like to request the help from this board. Thanks in advance.

It bleeps to tell you that you have no signal reaching the receiver.

This is usually because your transmitter is not on, or you haven't installed crystals, or the smaller red wire plug from the ESC is not plugged into the receiver's battery socket.

ohhhhh cool

but i have a nother question....

is there eny where i can get a manual because now it can only do forward and brake... not the reverse option and it is not cool to run around and pick it uot of bushes all the time[:I]

Hold down the button and switch it on, release button 1 second later, reverse will now work again.

You turn reverse on and off this way.
