I have been wondering about this a lot. Go figure :D

What is behind the name on your TC homepage? I'm Henk4Focus as I greatly admire what Ford has done in world rallying and motorsport for that matter and am crazy about the Focus cars.

Wyoming I get, Scollins a no brainer, but what about the rest of you posting here? What gives with Pandafred, Gazza, Swarm? Hey Stu and you other members, I would like to get behind the Biggus, Twinset,RCP and what else and then the rest who might follow this will also know they why.

Cheers

Henk ;)

Mine is incredibly dull! When I ventured onto the internet many years ago to setup a Yahoo mail address - I couldnt have "Skip" which is my nick name (my surname is Skipper) so I just added the numbers from the registration of my car at the time (a 1985 VW Scirocco) which were "665"

For some reason I seem to keep using it when I cant have "Skip" - although I dont see another Skip who is active on TC ;)

Oh and my avatar picture was taken the very first time I took my Lunchbox out when I first got back into RC in August 07 (it hadn't really been used since the early 90s and still had the MSC in it!)

Well, I'm just a geek who thinks "Badboy" are a cool name ;):D:D

As I'm Badboy on all forums where I hang, it's just natural to be Bad all over the world

Another 7 pages worth here but just on user names,

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?...0&hl=handle

I`m sure there were some other very similar threads over the last few years ;)

My user name came from using CB radio`s back in the 70`s and 80`s .I am a biker,so my original handle was Twistgrip , it just got shortened to Twisty,i am in no way connected with the name of any other websites you may of seen.

Avtar is me sat on one of my bikes, the littlest one :D or it would be if it worked lol

I've been Jonny555 since the mid 70's when I first used CB radio. Originally my 'handle' was LittleJohn, but an Italian bloke always called me Jonny555 for some reason. It just stuck.

My avatar is just a picture of my Tt-01 with it's Impreza 2004 body on. I usually race it with it's BMW M3 body.

"itcrashed" comes from the fact that I have been a computer consultant for over a decade and it's the short phrase I constantly hear from people needing my assistance.

"Hey Rex, my computer, well, it crashed. Can you help me out?"

Never a "Hi Rex! How are you?"

It just symbolizes that whenever someone talks to me...it's always about a computer problem! LOL

My avatar just happens to be the last kit I built.

Mine is 94eg! cause that's my usual internet name. Came from Honda-Tech cause I own/love my modified 1994 EG Civic hatchback (actually an EH2 CX trim). The exclamation point was added cause regular 94eg was already taken on Honda-Tech.

My avatar is a photo of my beloved Vanquish mini-4WD slot car. Back in Ann Arbor Michigan in the late 80's, this car won almost every single race it entered (in bone stock trim). It's worst finish was 2nd place. Every time I raced it, the store clerks would make me tear it appart to see if I was cheating. What did I care, I was only 12 yrs old. That car won me so many gifts certificates that I was able to afford my first real RC (Kyosho Raider). The mini Vanquish won everything it entered. A couple years ago, I took this picture for the Tamiya photo contest and it won that too. They sent me a little Hi-lux mini 4WD and a nice Dangun racer toolbox/carry case.

Mr_pushrod came from me wanting a motoring related hotmail address without loads of letters and numbers. My avatar pic is my TA-01 Audi Quattro at Kidderminister '07 driven by me and photographed by NetsmithUK.

Mine is slimmy. because my nickname is slim. when i first registered with TC i was half drunk and just typed in slimmy. thinking it was cute. since then I tried to change it to slim, but it wont let me. Now i have just accepted it, and girls usually call me slimmy anyway. My avatar is just a picture of some shelves in my bedroom. ;)

spudgun is a charecter from the series "bottom" i used this name on "cod uo" other games and forums. I don't use that any more, Losirazor now if your on COD 4 5 or UO say hi! The 666 part was thanks to the wife who informed me "toy cars" were dumb and that i was a child! (said in jest) so the most childish thing i could think of was to put 666 at the end. my showroom avatar is the rear end of my beetle just love that view! no avatar on here as i normally use a dogbert avatar, but that was not allowed

my avatar is of my recently modded grasshoppers (crp fx10 front suspension upgrade)

My avatar up till recently was my much modded Sand Rover (favourite car) but seeing as its in the rebuild stage and no longer will look like it did I changed it for my Hilux for no other reason than I liked it.

The reasons behind my nickname are mentioned in other post but I will go through it again.. I was in a Nissan Turbo Owners Club over here in UK for many years, good mates with the chairman and he started calling me Biggus Dickus (after the charactor in Monty Pythons Life of Brian) as it fitted me seeing as im 6foot and over 20stone in weight (290lb ish for those that work like that) and Richard (being my name) was shortened years ago to ****. So Biggus Dickus stuck.

That was until I had an unfortunate incident in a much modified Nissan Cherry Turbo with race spec suspension, the rear structure of chassis gave way as I rounded a bend (probably far too quickly anyway) and I crashed into a ditch. After that I became Biggus Ditchus, long drawn out explanation I know. Mostly Im known as Biggus.

Take the first letter off my username and place it at the end of it. You've then got my real name and first letter of my surname. How clever am I?

To all who know French, my name needs no further explanation. Mouton is one of the French words for sheep. Now, why a sheep in the first place? Well, it was either that or Tweety Bird! As the Oscar-winning canary would seem less creative I opted for the sheep for most online forums. When I signed up on TC my name was Le Parrain, which is also French, meaning The Godfather. It had no reference to the movies and was merely a tribute to my goddaughter. I later decided to stick with the sheep.

Morover, Tamiya's Audi quattro is driven by Michelle Mouton, so Mouton it works here as well.

My nickname is a bit of a no-brainer. Mark is my name and my favourite model is the TA03F Pro, hence the TA-Mark. I also have a soft spot for the 2 previous TA0* models and it's offroad counterpart the DF01. I only use the TA-Mark here. My nickname offline is 'RoadRunner' or 'Roady', given to me as a child when I would watch Roadrunner cartoons non stop and for the fact that I just don't slow down. On other online places I use the nick K10wN (Clown with a K). I spose I'm a bit of a clown at heart.

My avatar is my DF03 MS. A modern model that has left me a bit disappointed but at the same time still looks very sexy. The 'Make Em Cry' caption because I run the MambaMax ESCs and motors in most models and that I 'make them cry' when I drive with other people. Many times others have 'taken their bat and ball and gone home' because I drive hard. It's a catch 22, drive fast and win they get upset, slow down and let them win and they know you are doing it and get upset anyway. As such I don't have anyone to drive with now apart from my own kids (Used to have enough visitors to my track to hold a meeting each month). Such is life.
