What's the difference between the M-04 chassis ?

What's the difference between the M-04L & M-04M chassis ? & what does the L and M stand for ? Thanks .

Wheelbase. L is 239mm, M is 225mm. The L car has a small spacer in the middle of the chassis that can easily be removed.

L means long, M means Meduim. The M01 and M02 chassis were also available with a 205mm wheelbase. Not surprisingly this is known as the S for short.
