Ian_Gsi16V 533 Posted December 5, 2009 Heres my M-01 based Mini. Can't remember when i built it but it must of been around 94/95 (i think) Hasn't been run for a long long time, to delicate from what i can remember. Sorry for the bad pics
berman 5315 Posted December 5, 2009 So virginal... Started building it last night, was told I could after the jolly fat man (me) gave 'Missus Claws' a pressie early. Waiting on radio gear now. Undecided on colour. I want to get the ABC Hobby CRX, EK9, and City Turbo shells now, I think that justifies buying another M03
TA-Mark 195 Posted December 6, 2009 This is a work in progress still. I needed something 1:12 scale suitable to tow my 1:12 scratch built balsa boats. Lunchbox on a shortened M04 fits that task perfect. Sorry for the terrible photo, it's captured from this video to test the steering didn't rub. I also have a Kamtec ABS Escort Mk1 body I'm working on for the same shortened M04. M04 Chassis has all the Tamiya alloy I could find, MambaMax 4600Kv, 3s2p A123 saddle packs (9.9v), S3050 digital servo, custom carbon fibre adjustable length TVP chassis plates, steel RRP 17T pinion. None of these hopups were fitted in the video. Video is all stock with a cut plastic M04 chassis (was just seeing if my idea would work first).
Toykid 596 Posted December 7, 2009 Based on a cut down M02. getuserimage.asp.jpeg I can't get the attachments to show?? Amazing what you can do with this chassis. berman 5315 Posted December 11, 2009 Most of the cars posted are rather nice! So I painted and decalled it up yesterday, just got the radio gear in and took it for a run, what a blast! I know it's stock (just bearings), but what a barrel of laughs! My batteries cant charge fast enough! Cheers to those of you that said to pick the M03! Damaniac 0 Posted December 13, 2009 This is my first M03. Was fairly standard as I was really not to serious about racing mini @ that stage in time. It was a Mini Cooper racing kit w' bearings. sports tuned motor, alloy front uprights, 2degree rear uprights, ESC, HPI X-Pattern tyres & rims & a Frewer Body.
