Any Way To Recover Photos On Mass?

Hope someone can help, recently suffered a total meltdown in the computer dept. and lost most of my photo's (did back them up but the HP back program is useless and wont let me access them) obviously lots of my car pics are stored on here just wondered if there is anyway to recover the whole lot in one go or is it a matter of doing them one by one?
