TT-01 hop-ups

Hi there ive got a TT-01

i want to replace all the plastic bearings, with ball bearings. which are the best type? ballrace? and how many would i need? are they all the same size? also i feel the gearing is a bit short.. what is decent ratio to use?

raced my tt-01 against a grasshopper2 on top speed. he got 28.1km/h and i got 22.9km/h on the gps.

Interesting that the GH is faster. It seems that the GH LB tranny is quite effective, since my LB is one fast mother!

Try shopping for complete sets of bearings on ebay, and try a hotter motor, like a sportstuned and some speed gearing.

Eveything can be found on the mighty bay.
